Users have reported that calls received between 12pm and 1pm reflect in the call log as 00:00 to 00:59. Should a call come in at 1 pm, it reflects as 1pm. There are 1120 sets on this same system. and call log times reflect correctly on them.

Any ideas what may be occurring here?

I made an error in my post. I got the phones reversed. It's the 1120 sets that have the issue not 1140 sets.

I was thinking firmware issue. I pulled a list of what I have registered and have 3 versions, C4I, C6J, & C6T. I still need to get exact details from the customer as to which phones are experiencing this issue, so I can maybe associate firmware with the trouble.

I'm not sure what the latest F/W version should be for the 1120 sets.

C7M is the latest for the 1110, 1120, and 1140 models. I have upgraded all of my 1100 sets to this.

Is there a way to update the the firmware on IP sets without a TFTP server? I've seen comments alluding to the idea the update can be placed on the CS1000, but have not found documentation to confirm that,

Information on how to upgrade firmware is in the IP Line Fundamentals NTP. You may want to look at the "currency file" mechanism which is an approach within Element Manager to download the latest recommended files.

Note that the Currency File does not show the most recently released firmware files as "current".

Right we upgrade our IP phone firmware by placing the files on the signalling server (Element Manager) and not by using a TFTP server. Then you just have to reboot the phone(s). Any phone that is rebooted will receive the new firmware. The only caution is if you don't want the new firmware on ALL your phones in case you lose PoE or something and your phones happen to reboot. Or, if you don't want many phones pulling the firmware file across your network which could bog things down. ;) Best of luck.
