1120e 2 issues

1, the screen says cable not plugged in although it is.


2, the phone keeps rebooting and says cannot connect to server.
 
might be plugged in but is the data port disabled on the switch, use your laptop to ping the S1 via the cable

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder

I know the port is working because i was able to get a diffrent phone to come up on the same port. Any other suggestions?
 
Just wondering if you resolved this? I have the same issue.

I checked the data port - good - as I used a different phone
I moved the phone to a different PBX I had and the phone boots up on that PBX.

The system I am trying to connect to is an SRG connected to a CS1000M at Rls 6.

Just did a query on the set itself - it is at C6O.

It appears that other 1120 sets at the SRG location are at C4N.

Can I download older firmware?
 
Download is possible .
Use Avaya.com and select Download and then IP Deskphone .
I believe your FW must so Unistim 3 or so .
 
@dabble. There are restrictions on downgrades. The currently-shipping hardware cannot download to older software.
