1120 and 1140 from unistim to sip

I have to convert a bunch of phones from unistim to sip. The documents that I have for doing it show that I have to have information for the DeviceConfigNew.dat file. The phones I am using are being sold to a reseller to put their info in it. Can I just load the SIP firmware only on the sets and if so do I just delete the DeviceConfigNew from the cfg file?

I did a guide on this process a while ago and it shows you how to convert the IP phones in either direction. There shouldn't be a need to change the configuration details as this will be done by the buyer when this add in their requirements.
