Hi,

Does anyone know the string I need to put in for a 1100 series phone if I am using a Windows DHCP server?

I know you need to use SSON 232 but no where tells me the string.

Is it the same as a J series?

it is option 232 if I remember correctly no 242
the rest should be the same (again all from memory because that was a long time ago since I did the last one)

@Westi is correct - I had the 1140E working on option 232

Thanks, I know the number is 232 but what do I need to set in option 232 to get the phone to work?

If it's the same as option 242, here it is:

Option 242 –String Value

L2Q=1,L2QVLAN=xx,VLANTEST=0,MCIPADD=a.b.c.d,MCPORT=1719,HTTPSRVR=a.b.c.d
