Hi folks. I am attempting to upgrade a 9.2.0.7 database to 10g. I tried this previously, but was unsuccessful and therefore restored the database from a backup (fortunately this is a test environment) having corrected the problem.
However, now on trying to start dbua in the 10g $ORACLE_HOME/bin, I am getting the message:
I have removed the file identified, but still the problem (and message) persists. Has anyone come across this before and is there a fix? The OS is Solaris 8 if that's relevant. Many thanks.
I want to be good, is that not enough?
However, now on trying to start dbua in the 10g $ORACLE_HOME/bin, I am getting the message:
DBUA thinks this is a Rerun operation and is trying to connect to the database with oracle home /oracle/product/10g. If you believe this is not a Rerun operation, remove the below file and invoke DBUA again.
/oracle/product/10g/cfgtoollogs/dbua/logs/Welcome_LIVE.txt
I have removed the file identified, but still the problem (and message) persists. Has anyone come across this before and is there a fix? The OS is Solaris 8 if that's relevant. Many thanks.
