I am installing an mp3 music source (Sandisk Sanza Clip) for MOH to a Partner processor R4.1 using the Music on Hold port. I am getting low volume when placed on hold. I have an old 105a coupler. I'm assuming it is a impedance matching device. I went on the internet to try and find some information, a telephone supplier in Michigan sells them, in their description they say to use Extension 15. What is the story with that, why can't I use the MOH port on the processor, which by the way is a RCA jack and the output of the 105a is a four pin modular.

I forget if the older Partners have the option, but #614 will boost the volume internally on the Partner. It might just be on ACS's, but it's worth a try. I've never heard of using anything other than the MOH port.

The coupler is only used with the "baby" Partner system, that is a 206 module without the "E" on the label, plugged into Ext. 15 and administered for MOH.

If you've got a Partner Plus or Partner II, the MOH jack takes an RCA and there is a volume control next to it on the processor, while an ACS has the RCA but the volume is set in programming.
