i have a t1 that carries 18 did's and the remaining six channnels 19 to 24 used for internet access. i am using a 100r module for this one and is working well.
now i want to adjust the t1 usage to 12 ch for voice and 12 ch for internet...the problem is i cant select the channels on the switch side...the magix doesnt deem to accept the changes i was making on the csu/dsu channel selection...does anyone know this in detail?

When you go into DS1/GS/LS and you select T1, you come to another screen letting you select Tie, or all tie, etc, etc. Select Tie and enter the trunks that you are adding. It sounds like you're not doing that.

Also, you should do a print of the trunks and confirm that they are not in any pools. You need to remove them before you try to assign them as router channels.

Well, we're not assigning any data channels fpnedude. We need to add voice channels.

1st is to go to the DSU side and delete those data channels like you've done. Then go into the tie spot and add them. etc., etc. You should have no problem then. When you go into the csu/dsu section you should see the changes then.
