100a Digital - Analog Adapter

Hi All

Can this adapter be used on a system with no analog ports? I know there are 2 modes of operation, shared line or 2 independent lines, but does either mode actually require an analog line?

No analog lines are required. The 100A adapter takes the second data channel and converts it to analog.
