I'm working on a 1006r server and it seems that I can not get the Raid Controller to work properly. I have 2 HDD. Slot "0" there are no lights showing, slot "1" has a solid green light. I have swapped drives and the same thing happens, no lights in "0", green light in "1". I have re-installed from the DVD Image, I have confirmed Raid configuration from an identical 1006r server, I have re-built the drive. The server recognizes the HDD is there on startup, but it will not illuminate the green light on that specific slot.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm guessing the LED Connector wire is not plugged into the motherboard. Just a guess though

Hard drive LEDs There is an activity/fault LED for each of the hard drive
connectors. The LED illuminates green for activity or amber for a
drive fault. The green activity LED is driven by the SAS/SATA
hard disk drive directly. The amber fault LED is driven by the
VSC410 management controller when a fault condition is
detected. When the drive is used in a RAID configuration, the
RAID controller has control over the fault LED and it may exhibit
different behavior.

The amber light blinks on slot "0" when I take the drive offline.
