So here is how I thought this would work. :)

QSIQ PRI TIE trunks Between 1000M and Cisco CallManager.

Built DSC 734 to Route on 1000M.
Call to cisco from Nortel extension. Works great! NUMBER + NAME.
Call to Nortel from Cisco extension. Work Great! NUMBER + NAME.

Call from outside to DID routing to CISCO through DSC. (XXX)XXX-734X. Works Great! NUMBER + NAME!! WOW!

Call from Cisco through Nortel to Outside Cell (XXX)XXX-XXXX. No Name (Which is fine, don't care) NUMBER shows just (XXX) area code.

Trace from DCH. "-" Placed by me for easier readability.

DCH 26 UIPE_IMSG CC_SETUP_IND REF 00000600 CH 26 23 TOD 10:58:35 CK 05DE9344
CALLED #:91-XXX-XXX-4233 NUM PLAN: E164 TON: NATL
CALLING #:90X-XXX-7345 NUM PLAN: UNKNOWN TON: NATL

DCH 5 UIPE_OMSG CC_SETUP_REQ REF 0000327D CH 1 17 TOD 10:58:35 CK 05DE934D
CALLING #:90X-XXX-7345 NUM PLAN: UNKNOWN TON: NATL
CALLED #:1-XXX-XXX-4233 NUM PLAN: E164 TON: NATL

The DCH 26 shows the proper CLID coming from the CISCO. And it shows great to the DCH 5 going to the CO. But the display on the Cell/Work # shows just the area code (90X).

Is this something that the Nortel is doing? or could there be a CO issue?

Also,
I can change a set to any CLID that I want, through the CLID in NET_DATA in LD 15.
Is there a way to change the CLID going to the CO on a TIE trunk?

Thanks,

es

CLID is on the CDP entry.

When calling from the cisco to the outside world, it still shows just the Area Code.

Any other ideas?

CPUB in RDB set to yes?

Not shure what CPUB is, I have attached the RDB.
Got me searching the book. ICNP,ICNT and OCNP,OCNT looks like that would change the type, but couldn't see it in the RDB.

stumpped.

What a pain, banging head on coputer screen (it's not one of the flat wimpies, it's a full blown 15" CRT) :) .

Thanks,

p.s. just letting out some frustration. 5-6 hours on this, doesn't feel very good.

how is your DMI table set up? is it changing the type of call?

Yes the DMI is changing the call to NPA.

shameless bump.
just in case someone was fishing on Friday, or in the wilderness.

OK, So it is fixed.

The First DCH Messages are what we were getting when it wasn't working. Notice the "UNKNOWN". Now, with this configuration I was getting the area code on the display of the called set (out side of the switch). I could not find in the Nortel, what to change, to display the rest of the info, I/e to add the nxx and dsc, or attache a CLID to the call. Remember , Tie trunk from Cisco to Nortel, Nortel to CO. Anyways see below for fix.

Code:
DCH 26 UIPE_IMSG CC_SETUP_IND REF 00000400 CH 26 23 TOD 10:39:25 CK 05BB8E53

CALLED #:91503xxxxxxx NUM PLAN: E164 TON: NATL

CALLING #:xxxxxxx7345 NUM PLAN: UNKNOWN TON: NATL

DCH 5 UIPE_OMSG CC_SETUP_REQ REF 0000325B CH 1 14 TOD 10:39:25 CK 05BB8E5B

CALLING #:xxxxxxx7345 NUM PLAN: UNKNOWN TON: NATL

CALLED #:1503xxxxxxx NUM PLAN: E164 TON: NATL

********************************

So. I thought, well we are seeing "UNKNOWN" on the NUM PLAN. So The Cisco must be sending that. Contacted the Cisco Call manager Tech, and with his support was able to change the info to the following.

Code:
I had to use the following settings:

Called party IE number type = Cisco CallManager
Calling party IE number type = National
Called Numbering Plan = Cisco CallManager
Calling Numbering Plan = ISDN

now we get the "E164" NUM PLAN" and that passes the CLID just fine to the outside world through the Nortel system. BTW Succession 4.5W 1000M
Code:
.
DCH 26 UIPE_IMSG CC_SETUP_IND REF 00000880 CH 26 23 TOD 8:13:36 CK 138FBB36
CALLED #:91503xxxxxxx NUM PLAN: E164 TON: NATL
CALLING #:907xxxxxxx NUM PLAN: E164 TON: NATL

DCH 5 UIPE_OMSG CC_SETUP_REQ REF 00003863 CH 1 21 TOD 8:13:36 CK 138FBB3E
CALLING #:907xxxxxxx NUM PLAN: E164 TON: NATL
CALLED #:1503xxxxxxx NUM PLAN: E164 TON: NATL

Hope that helps someone,

Thanks to those who tried helping, and sorry for not posting my question to well. English is my second language.
