Hi Can anyone please help me. I encountered a problem with our customer using a MICS. There are times when calls keeps ringing for 10 times before going to the Auto Attendant on a Call Pilot 100. I did several test and the problem becomes intermittent when sometimes I immediately get the Auto Attendant and then sometimes I get 10 rings. I tested each of their lines and it is only happening on 1 of their line. And, they are programmed the same. i hope someone out their can help me out.

Have you tested the line for proper ring voltage?

NTAK10:

Follow Hawks thread as that is a very good starting point. You can also swap the line with a known good line and see if the trouble follows the line or if it is the CO port. I'm assuming that you have loop start lines on LD/DS cards??

could try getting the voltage and swap lines. thanks.

how many users are on the voicemail?? I am assuming this because you may have 100 users trying to log onto a 4 channel voicemail with full auto attendant. This will cause the voicemail not to pick up during peak times. Also, check general delivery mailbox. You may have tons of busy messages. If this is the case, check disconnect supervision on your lines.

Check all your voicemail channels. Are they functioning. 1 port may be functioning while the other is not. Check this by going to 4 different phones and pressing F985 and busing out channels. YOu should be able to get set xxx on 4 different telephones without any problems.
