I know in the bcm we can set are received number length only up to seven. Do we have the ability to receive 10 from the the telco? And if so when I set up my public number do I just program the last seven received?

Thanks!

BCM 4.0 will allow you to receive up to 12 digits on the PSTN. Until then, you're stuck at 7. You'll need to have the carrier send you seven digits (or less), then program those digits against the target lines.

I tested this and and that is a true statement. Whatever the bcm is set for is all it will look at. If you are set to receive 7 4 3 etc that's all it will look at. My test I was set for seven 1234567 and had 10 sent 9991234567 and it made a match on the last 7 1234567. I did the same test with receive digits set to 4 and had 10 sent and the bcm looked at the last 4. Knowing this why would you never have 7 sent since it gives you the most flexability for your system. I suppose it could be a service mightmare.
