Hello,
I work for a School District and just installed Mac OS 10.4.1(Tiger) and noticed a change in the "Connect to Server" window. You can now click on "Remember password in Keychain".
I was planning to upgrade a computer lab to Tiger but don't want kids clicking on this option and saving their Server passwords in Keychain.
Does anyone know if "Remember password in Keychain" option can be removed or greyed out or lock users from saving to Keychain?
Also I'd like to remove AutoFill feature from Safari.. Any help with this would be great, too!!!

Thanks for your help....

?

I'm pretty sure this feature was in Panther, too.

You can almost certainly remove the feature by using the InterfaceBuilder to delete the button from the nib file - but you would still have to find the right nib, edit the permissions, etc..

Removing autofill - I would turn it off in preferences, then set permissions on the preferences file so that it can't be changed again.

If you don't know what I mean about setting permissions, you might want to get your hands on O'Reilly's book on Unix for Mac OS X users.
