My remote office using MPLS, has 1 IP set from the main site BCM, and the BCM at that location uses IP truns for 4 digit dialing. It has been working great for a few weeks, but today I only have speach path 1 way! Even on the remot IP set. BUt the odd thing, the remote iP set works fine if I call a DID, or an external number. So it think QOS is fine, but I have an intercom issue from the remote site. Any ideas? site B is patched fully, but site 1 has been loggin memory near its capacity errors?

Thanks

Site 1 could be your problem.
When you call IP set to IP set, after the call setup it becomes a peer to peer termination.
So, this could be a network issue or a resource issue at site 1.
What versions are you running?

BCM 1000 4.0 at site 1, and BCM50 2.0 site 2. Odd thing, I can use IP set at site 2 (connected to the bcm1000) it makes outside calls fine. Not intercom calls, I can hear the person I called, but they can't hear me. so the audio is good to the remote site, but not back.

OK.
The difference is on a DID call, you're using the public network. Keep this in mind, IP set to IP set always becomes a peer to peer call after the inital call setup. It's purely on the network and controlled by the sets. Has anything recently changed in the network?
The sets will negotiate the ports they are going to use for talk/listen for the peer to peer portion of the call. If you've recently added a router, or firewall, or updated some ACL's, they could interfere with the peer to peer connection.
Other causes of one way speech ...
Codec mismatch
payload mismatch
VAD mismatch

You definitely need to patch the one that's eating up resources.

Thank you. I just patched the 4.0 bcm, and I am getting the following alarm now.

File system /var/log near or on its capacity

I will test this morning because I applied the patches over night. How can I address the file log capacity? Sounds like a tough one.

Thanks

Works after the patch's were applied. Still not sure about the var error.
