1 mailbox not receiving mail

I have been having problems with 1 mailbox for some time.

Originally I deleted the mailbox and recreated and initially that seemed to resolve the problem, however after this the user couldn't receive mail again.

I purged his account in Exchange System Manager, however in the M: there are now 2 folders relating to the same user. I have tried deleting 1 of these, but it seems somehow interlinked with the other folder.

Any ideas how I can overcome this problem?
