1 Customer list 2 companies

Here is the problem maybe you guys can help before my pregnant accounting lady rips me apart lol. Anyway we have our old comapany but the accounting dept has decided to reconfigure it. What they did was build a new company to the specifications that they wanted and now want to import the old customer list. That of course didnt work or i wouldnt be here, we keep getting an error saying line XX and field XXXX and well i dunno why its doing it lol. Anyway is there an issue that is preventing us from doing this or do you guys maybe know of another way to transfer the customer list from one company to another?

Copy the customer.dat file from the old company to the new one.

This will make the 2 companies have identical customer lists. If you are looking to import the customer list and retain existing records, that is another story. Software Sales, Training and Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine
