1 CPU or 2CPU is better

I plan to buy new Win2K server or HPOV NNM, he new swer will monitoring 1000 node with 50 report, Ciscoworks 2000 and 4 user will access the HPOv web browser via LAN.

so i have option for new server with 1 or 2 Processor( Intel Xeon) so with one is better? is HPOV have optimazing in 2 Processor ?

If you can get a dual Xeon system, do it. You'll find CiscoWorks 2000 is a real pig. I am running the exact configuration you are describing, except with many more nodes. The second processor can be utilized between the applications and will make a significant difference.
