Hi, I was wondering what the implications are should 1 CM reboot or fail during an active work day if there was a 2821 in SRST mode locally? we are talking of a single site callmanager with a voice enabled 2821 facing to pstn. I know the SRST will not support all my users. what i am more concerned with is will the active calls lose connection during the SRST kick in?

insights? thank you

If the Gateway is set up as MGCP, calls are preserved when SRST becomes active and will stay up even when CCM returns. This includes IP to IP or Ip to PSTN calls.
