I have a customer requesting something I've not thought about or tried.

Is there a way to set up a key on a set that will transfer to a CCR path?

If there is, I figure it would be in the 9XX feature range but I haven't run across this in the docs.

If this is Call Pilot you can. Under Auto Attendant and General Properties set the starting CCR feature code to 911. Then when you want to transfer a call to a path dial feature 9, tree number, path number. Example is if caller needs to go to tree 2 path 4 dial feature 924

It is Call Pilot...thanks, endlesswinter.

I just went into AA General Properties and the only options I see are:

Return to AA
Touchtone Gate
Customize Digits

On my BCM 50 I have the following:

Return to Auto-Attendant:
Touchtone Gate:
Use customized digits:
Starting CCR tree feature code: (3 digits: Feature digit, Tree number, Node within tree)
Number of CCR tree feature codes:
Repeat CCR Menu Prompts:

Are you using the Call Pilot format or the NVM format?

I typically use the NVM format.

One button access to CCR trees

After you create a CCR Tree, you can program one-button access to any of its nodes. To do this,

you create a feature code for the tree node you wish to access at the push of a button. If you need to

access several nodes at the push of a button, you must create a range of feature codes and assign

each feature code to the different CCR Tree Nodes.

1 On the Auto Attendant properties page, set the feature code range and number of feature codes

assigned to the different CCR trees. For more information, refer to “Setting the Auto Attendant

properties” on page 73.

2 Build your CCR tree.

3 Program memory buttons on the telephone set, using F*3 to correspond with the feature codes

assigned in the Auto Attendant properties page. Refer to the CallPilot Reference Guide to

program memory buttons for feature codes.

The feature codes must not be the same as other applications. The codes must correspond to F9xy

where:

• x represents the tree number

• x is from 1 to 7 inclusive (x cannot be 0, 8, or 9)

• y represents the node number

• y is from 1 to 8 inclusive

For example:

• F941 sporting goods

• F942 meat department

• F943 customer service

Can someone please elaborate on this? Are you saying that a phone on a
BCM can transfer a caller directly to a certain CCR Tree? How does one
set that up and what is meant by "I programmed my function setting in
Call Pilot manager with the Function to start at 931"?

I can't say I've ever heard of this action before.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

I'm an idiot, was testing from internal extensions. Soon as I
installed the new trunks it worked like a dream

One more question about the process of setting the feature codes up.

What do I need to do to view the CCR options on my general properties page. As in my earlier post, all I see is:

Return to AA
Touchtone Gate
Use Customize Digits

endlesswinter's properties page includes this:

Starting CCR tree feature code: (3 digits: Feature digit, Tree number, Node within tree)
Number of CCR tree feature codes:
Repeat CCR Menu Prompts:

If I had that on my properties page to start with I think I would have been able to figure the rest out.

Thanks.

I think I have solved the mystery. The customer asking about the transfer to CCR paths are on a BCM 400 3.7 and my lab box is a 3.7. Neither have the additional features that I outlined on the AA properties page.

I looked at a couple of 4.0 boxes and also a BCM 50 2.0 I have out there and both those do have the feature choices on the properties page.

So apparently, the feature wasn't available on the 3.7 version but is on the Linux boxes. That's what was causing my confusion.
