0x16 lamp status

I have a customer that has called me asking about a red lamp on an 0x16 digital module. As far as he knows three are no set out.
I am working with a 4.1 MICS and I believe that some of the older modules are red when operational. I suppose I could make the 100
mile trip to make sure, but thought I would check with the forum first. Question is, is my memory correct on older 0x16 modules having
a red lamp on when fully operational?
