I get a 0403-009 The specified number is not valid for this command, when running a script in maestro. The same script when run on the terminal using the same user does not give this error.

Can any one give me more details about this 0403-009 error and any clue why I might be getting thie error only when running the script in maestro.

Does the error message indicate the line number in the script which it doesn't like?
Can you post the offending command line here?

slayne

It is line 46. I am calling another script. The command line is

. /u/dba/apps/test/CARS/bin/kr_vars_dev

Unless "." (dot) has a different meaning to maestro than to *nix shells, the error would appear to be inside the called script.

The message may indicate you are using an alpha string instead of a number where an number is expected. This sometimes happens if you misspell an environment variable inside a construct like this: $(( myvariabul * 23 ))

Does this get you any closer?
Is the called script large? (ie: could you post it here)

This helps , I will look through the calling script.
