Hello,

I have a customer with a 3-Cabinet Merlin Legend, CKE4 processor, R7 V9.0. The system is full of 408 MLX cards and they need more capacity.

First, can a 024 TDL card in a clamshell be used in a Merlin Legend system? There is space available in slots 16 and 17 of the 3rd carrier if the 024 TDL will work there.

Thanks,
wahackney

No TDL's on Legend, but if you have a CKE4, and no ATL cards, you could upgrade the processor to a Magix, or just pick up a Magix processor and clamshell. Remember you can't go beyond 200 sets.

Thanks for the info TTT. Sounds like the 016 MLX is the largest capacity board available.

Regarding the Merlin Magix processor if installed, is there anything other than a data conversion required? Can the Legend cabinets support a Magix r4.0 processor? No ATL cards are installed.

Absolutely. Just download the Legend configuration to your PC and use the convert utility to create a Magix configuration to upload to the new processor.

Thanks all. I believe I have what I need.
