I have a Merlin Magix customer wanting to add a page zone, they have 1 Valcom v-2000a page adaptor wired to a CO port, can I move that v-2000 to a analog ext port, add another v-2000 for the new page zone, AND give them ability to page both zones at the same time? Thank you in advance!

1) can I move that v-2000 to a analog ext port

First, in checking the Manual of the V-2000a, It can only be connected to a C.O. Line Port (Trunk Port), so the answer is NO!

2).....add another v-2000 for the new page zone

Yep, you could do that but see the answer to 1 Above.

......AND give them ability to page both zones at the same time

3) Yep, if you have a 2.2 or later MAGIX, it can have multiple paging groups

Replace the v-2000a with a v-2003a and you get 3 paging zones. Still use the single trunk port on the Magix, and then you can page any single or combination of all zones.
