012 w/ringer analog ports 2

should i be able to use regular analog phone on these ports to call out and receive call? i thought i remembered they used to work before. now all i get is the internal call dial tone and can only use it to call internally within the merlin legend phone system.

what should i do to get them to receive outside calls and call out?

Yes. Do a print out of one of those extension and check restriction and line assignments.

When you pick-up with an intercom dialtone all you should need to do is press "9" to get an outside dial-tone as long as their aren't any restrictions on the extension.

I got rid of the restriction and now can dial 9 to get out.
How can I get an outside dial-tone without having to dial 9?

1) Assign the line (or Pool) to the extension.

Extensions > lines Trunks

2) Set auto line select for that line/pool

Centrl Prog > touch the button, *14 Touch the button again > enter
