I have a Legend 6.1 customer with a T-1 broken into 2 pools. Pool 898 has the last 4 channels of the T and does not require account codes from the carrier(All others do). Right now this pool is route 3 in Sub-pattern A for tables 1, 17, and 18 with an FRL of 2. All fax extensions on the system also have an FRL of 2. Routs 1 and 2 have an FRL of 3 so faxes are routed to pool 898 and require no account code. By default in the Dial 0 Table you can choose only 1 route and this is no good if you are a fax extension. The book says that you can put 011 in any table and the calls will be routed accordingly. My question is, how do you program table 1 with 011? I tryed putting it in the exchange area of table 1 thinking that you don't dial 1 frist and that did not work.

Make the 011 an area code table entry. Just so you know, each table has to be entirely for an exchange, or area code, etc. They cannot be mixed. Soounds like you have a handle on the ARS puzzle. Good job !

Thanks, I will give that a shot. By the way, why do you need to use a different table for each area or exchange code if they are to be treated the same? just curious.

It's looking for a certain number of digits with different types of tables.
