007 MLM R1 Admin Password reset?

I have a 007 MLM Merlin Mail. I have the password for the admin box 9997, & can get in. But press "9" & try everything I've seen (like the last 6 digits of the serial #) & can't get in. I've tried to use the serial # for the password on mailbox 9997, & it did not say "good By" I've powered it off & on after "too many unsucessful logons" prompt.

Thanks I got it. I had the wrong Serial #. After looking at old posts I found how to get in to the modem & get the serial #. then I did the log in to 9997 with the serial #, & a powercycle. to reset the password.

I would think that most of my posts prove otherwise.

But if you need one on one help, I know of no other way to be contacted without the WEBMASTERS getting all over me/you or who ever.

Would any one like for me to quit posting?

Ok MerlinMan, I see you have been very helpfull. I've just been spinning my wheels on this on because everyone I've talked with, or everthing I've seen says something a little diferent.
It seemed as if you were going for the $$$ with your short post. And like I said you have been graet with some of your other posts.

I'm still pulling my hair out over this thing. Its stll not working like I was told it would. It should be eazy, I'm just missing a step.

Actually, with the MLM, I made sure Bell Labs gave us a way to reset w/o Power down and back up = Little Tooth Pick in small hole.

There are several lengthy posts on how to "check out" and reset these modules via the RS-232 port. The procedures for an MLM 007 and/or Merlin Mail R3.0 are almost identical. Check them out! If you are still having problems - you may well have corrupted software on your hard drive or an ailing drive that needs replacement. The motherboard rarely gives out - but it does happen

And dont be so quick to judge. I would say that most of what I know regarding Legend/Magix comes from this site. Most of that knowledge came from merlinman.

He did not post contact info, because that is in the rules of the site. I shuld know, Im on my 4th or 5th name here because of that.
