007 MLM (Merlin Legend Mail)

I have a client with a old 007 MLM voicemail went down. I was able to get it back up and working and the client would like to have it replaced.

We ordered a refurb 007 MLM and I would like to know if there is a way to backup the existing 007 MLM and reinstall it on the replacement 007 MLM so I do not have to reprogram the new VM from scratch???

You WILL have to reprogram from scratch - unfortunately. You CAN make the job a little easier by connecting via the RS232 port and hyperterminal from a PC - and printing the configuration to a text file - so it is readable. At least it will tell you everything that was programmed before and how. It will not help you with menu announcements, submenu announcements, mailbox contents, etc - all of that will have to be re-setup and re-recorded.
