If you find this installed on your PC is there any way of finding out who installed it and who it is sending the reports to?

In other words, is there any way of counter tracking this piece of software?

I have the removal ready to go, but before I do so I want to try and find out who put it there and who is doing the spying.

Also, is it likely that this was installed by using IE on a web site, or is it more likely to be an 'inside' job?

did a quick google and found this.. it is possible to disassmble it and see where the logs are being sent to. Another option is to notify the company that their product was used without your consent on your computer. They would disable that particular license. At least that would cost whoever "gave" it to you some money.
