I have users who need to use a website that passes variables in the URL string.
This is the link
If I get rid of the £ it works fine - if not I get the standard “The page cannot be displayed” error message from IE.
It works fine on another browser.
If I change the £ sign for %A3 i.e.
Then it works fine. As far as I can find out its something to do with UTF-8. I have tried to enable it and disable it within IE and it makes no difference.
Does anyone have any ideas please? Its not an option to recode the links because its not our site.
