    USB Zoom V92 Fax modem model (3090)

    Hey guys... i have a USB v92 zoom modem model(3090).. its connect speeds are 24kbps and 26.4kbps... in our labtop computer it has a stock v92 modem and it connects around 32kbps on the same line... why am i not getting good speeds on this modem?
