I'm making an online gallery and media place, but I don't know how to upload files that are big or end with, ".mp3" or ".avi". Can someone give me a script or explain how to do it.
Lots of TIA,
Inferno
I was working on sockets 'n stuff when I came across a common issue, how do I talk to a peer not on my network or even not in my ISP? Basicaly I'm just wondering how to contact someone that is under a proxy but I still know there underlying IP? If someone could help that'd be great.
TIA, Inferno
I'm using perl in cgi, how can I detect when the client leaves the site, or the cgi page? I'd greatly apreciate it if someone could answer my question.
Thanks, Inferno
Yeah, I tried that but I don't exactly get where it's printing the special headers and stuff. I did a look at it to the best of my ability, maybe someone else could look at it and tell me what the headers are or something.
I'd be very gratefull, Inferno
Check the top line, make sure it is correct,
are you running linux, if not then the $date thingy won't work,
other problems might be that your not running it over a web server: http://www.apache.org!
Please thank me for my valuble post, and ask me if you have any further errors.
thanks, Inferno
I know that "server push" works in NN, but when I try it in IE it obviously doesn't work. I recently went to http://my.bzflag.org/irc/irc.cgi, and has some kind of very similar technology that works in IE. Can someone please tell me what it is, and even better tell me how to use it and give me...
try http://my.bzflag.org/irc/irc.cgi, it works on IE and NN, and seems like it is using server push, I can't seem to get how it works. Someone out there could look into the code: CGI:IRC or something.
