    3-D Twist in Illustrator

    I'd like to create a twisted 3-D ribbon-like structure - as if you held a flat ribbon at its two ends and twisted it in opposite directions with your two hands. I can create the ribbon but the "twist" effect appears to happen in only one dimension, or maybe two. I'm looking for that 3-D DNA...
