Which CPUs for upgrade of PL 1600 ?
trying the same thing, but see the post on upgrade p2 - p3 for further info on my attempts. I used only correctly part-numbered p3-600 (the fastest capable) processors and max ram 4 x ECC pc100 256mb (largest capable) HP/compaq supply, as listed in upgradeable options from hp equipment survey... -
Proliant 1600. Upgrade from P2 to P3 ?
Trying the same thing, however cannot find info on dipswitch settings above 500 mhz and I have a pair of p3-600's I want to install, manuals etc I have and found on hp or compaq sites only list upto 450 or 500. Can you tell me the processor core switch settings for the processor board you used...
