    it is happening to me. now if i open it in GIMP, it will use the existing open program but i can double click pictures and open it many times. not sure how many but i have done up to 10 at once just to see. kinda frustrating. i am running windows XP

    i was wondering how to prevent multiples of the same GIMP program opening everytime i open a new pic. it is weird. i used to be that i would get a warning the few times i would accidentally open GIMP when it was already opened, but now it is anytime i open a new pic. i just don't have the time...
