    MCITP exam order advice

I actually started them in numerical order. After some quick scanning through the books, I found that the Pro Exams (647 and 663) were, just as Simon stated... comprehensive over the TS exams. Mark C.

    SAS vs iSCSI comparisons

I'm in the process of planning a Virtualization project and in doing research I cant seem to find a decent comparison of SAS vs iSCSI HBA. I am leaning towards Dell PowerVault MD3200 or MD3200i combined with 2 PowerEdge servers. I understand the MD3200 is direct connected to the servers and the...

    MCITP exam order advice

It's time... I've posted several threads on MS Certs in the past and have additional questions. I would have posted on previous threads, but they are marked closed. What order would you suggest I follow in my path to obtain both MCITP:EA and MCITP:EMA? I was considering the following; 70-680...

Should I disclose my tatoo's during interview

This information is great. My tattoos are not offensive in any way. I just wasn't sure how I should approach the issue. I'm fine with long sleeve during the interview (always SOP for me). I will ask about the dress code and if offered the job then go from there. If all else fails, I will...

Should I disclose my tatoo's during interview

ugh! I'm on the fence on this one... I think I will find out the details of the dress code and if it sounds like it's going to be an issue, I will disclose if need be. I just hope the manager looks at my skill set and what I bring to the table vs the fact that "I have visible tattoo's". Mark C.

I have an interview for a Sys Admin position for a locally-based bank next week and I need some advice on how to handle something. I don't know what the dress code requirements are, but I believe it to be business casual. I have tattoo's that cover the lower portion of my right arm and I not...

    Scareware/Rougueware detection and prevention

I'm not kidding about the once a week infection. However it's not on the same machine every week. I have a dozen off site pc's that I'm dealing with. I have the skills and the tools to remove them. My goal was to find another product (low cost or free) that is better at protecting from these...

    Scareware/Rougueware detection and prevention

@James - I figured as much, but had to ask. @goombawaho - I love your recommendations, but we all know how difficult it is to get a "typical-end-user" to be "cautious" when browsing the web. On paper it looks good, but in the real-world... just doesn't happen. @hawkdaddy - great point. I...

    Scareware/Rougueware detection and prevention

These new strains of infections are becoming quite troublesome. I run a mix of Symantec, MS Security Essentials, AVG and Nitro IPS and average at least one infection a week for the past several months. Anyone out there using a A/V solution that detects and prevents infections? Mark C.
