    hmm. this may be a 2003 srv sp1 vs 2003 clnt non-sp1 issue. or maybe just my client. the problem does not appear to be appearing on another box, so maybe this is not actually an issue?

    i think i may have found a solution. Using resource allocation view and adjusting "assignment delay" along with duration (with fixed work task types) allows me to resolve my resource allocation issues. then i can still baseline. does this sound right?
