    Hi Olly Thanks for the reply but the install.properties is pointed to the right version.My basic issue is when I ask my user to run mercator it is either running 5.0 or 7.5 but not both.I need both versions running until I get all my maps transitioned. Thanks Arcadi

    Hi dgerdner If you are connecting to the database using an mdq file turn on the trace on the mdq or use -T filename command and obtain a trace.This will be a lot easier to debug than the trial and error. arcadi2005
