Thanks for the suggestion. We set up Wireshark, No audio on the RTP. Connected second NIC card on voicemail server direct to IP500v2a. Did the wireshark and got the same result. Looks like IP500v2a is not sending audio on call recording. Leaning towards corrupted config, or a bad control unit.
Have Voicemail Pro on Windows PC running R11.0.4.8. System was working fine. After reboot, we lost audio on all calls. Narrowed it down to auto-recording. If I disable voicemail pro services or turn of auto call recording, calls work great. If I enable call recording, I see the recording in...
Any way to disable the new popup "Last successful Login..." in Avaya Manager 11.1.1 app? My customer is finding it annoying, and I don't see a way of disabling.
This is not going out SMTP. This is just the normal voicemail messages. And yes this is VMPro. I have logged it, but am having issues getting the timing right. They let me know after it happens, and it is hard to look into messages that were not there before and now they are. It does not...
I am still having an issue with voicemails being delivered late. Customer is complaining that when they access their mailbox they have no messages, then an hour later they check it and they have messages from a day or more before. I have this happening on 4 different customers, and they are...
I have an odd one. I have a B179 that worked great for 2 weeks. They moved it to another room and it won't boot up and pull a DHCP address. They can take a J169 and plug it into the same cord, and it comes up just fine. We moved it back to its original location and it does the same thing...
Finally got it to work. I had to completely uninstall. This included all logs and configurations. Then did a fresh install of R11.0.4.2. I did not want to try upgrading to R11.0.4.4 again. Not sure if it got corrupted during the upgrade, or that R11.0.4.4 is broke.
I upgraded an IP500v2 from R11.0.4.2 to R11.0.4.4 (Windows Server 2012). Everything seemed to go ok, but the One-X Mobile app says "Failed to retrieve XMPP account from (customer domain)". In the admin portal, it shows all components running except the IM/Presence Server says "Starting". I...
Interesting. I may have reduced the logins to require only 4 digits at these sites. I will have to confirm. I can have the ones complaining the most change their password to 6 digits. I can't image why that would be related, but hey, strangers things have occurred. Thanks for the idea.
Ok, I have 4 different customers complaining about the same issue. A voicemail is left, they occasionally don't get any indications that it was left, they even said that they checked their messages and had none, then suddenly, a message appears that was from 5 days before. I believe that all...
It is a bug in the R11.0.4 SP3. Avaya is working on it. I was able to upload a .RPM file to downgrade the system to R11.0.4 SP2 and it resolved my issue. If you have J series phones, I would avoid R11.0.4 SP3. Thanks again!
I recently upgraded a Powered By Avaya Hosted IP Office from R11.0.2 to R11.0.4 SP3. I had issues on the 11.0.2. After upgrading I received complaints that DTMF was not being recognized when the customer dialed into automated attendants outside of their business. I tried different firmware...
Yep. Ended up creating an engineering case with Avaya. Turned out that the 46xx settings file had some bad data in it. I show it in all my 46xx files. I don't know how it got there, but here is the bad data...

I have an IP Office currently interfaced via a trunk port on our system to the Rauland station port. It works well, however, I want to make an emergency page interface. I am having no luck. There is no documentation available on the Rauland system, and the dealer that...
I upgraded my customer to R11. Apparently a new enhancement was introduced that allowed the phones contacts in the display to search users first name AND last name (which I like). However, my customer liked it the old way (First name only). But he did bring up an annoyance about it, and I...
I was thinking of isolating the network to test. I have not yet. One interesting thing is that when the phones are down, I can ping them from the IP Office, so they are still technically up, and the IP Office can see them on the network, they just unregister. I try and reregister and reset...
