question: how to disable the onboard ServeRAID2 controller? I'm thinking that it causes my problems cause there's also a second controller which is in PCI slot6 and all drives and logical volumes are connected to this other (pci)controller (ServeRAID-Mx4). Problem with IBM netfinity 5500 8660-6SX as Fedora3 installed
Installed Fedora core 3 to ibm netfinity 5500 8660-6SX (controllers ServeRAID II-- onboard, ServeRAID Mx4--pci slot6) problem is : Won't boot/start linux what's weird.. system works OK with RedHat 8.0... but not with Fedora3.. Does fedora have much too new drivers and stuff in it ?!! Help...- hippo1
