DDS4 only backups 30Gb
Does anyone know why Seagate DDS4 tape can back up over 52G, but other brands DDS4 tapes like Sony and Imation can back up only less than 29G? I have many cad files that explain the high compression ratio. My tape drive is a Seagate Scorpion 40 running Veritas v8.6 Small Business Server edition.- jliew
