I’m looking to update my apaches security And just
wanted to no if any of you have a good tips or two
On configuring apache that’s not in the manual
hey all!
do any of you no of a site i can get a basic perl download? by this i mean only the file i need to run perl in my web pages. im running apache2 on a windows os if not do one of you no what files i need? i got the download from perl.com. but i think it has lots of files i dont need.
i took a look around the net and all i got was this

I took out every thing to do with custom error logs But the error logs never changed
Then I downloaded apache installer and got the same errors after installing it
With out changing anything so I went back and redid the “httpd.conf” file
But I again got the same old error and again...

I ran the Syntax test with apache.exe I got "Syntax OK"
I don’t have a file called “apachectl” should I have it?
I’m running Apache/2.0.53
Is there anything else you think it might be?
I’ve been trying to fix this but I don’t know what’s wrong
