I am running CM3.1 and I'm trying to putz around with service observing. in 'disp sys-para cust' the basic service observing feature is flagged to yes. I've put the button on my phone for which I have console permissions and when I press it I get wave off. What else needs to be set for this?
How do I know what rule is being used. I did a display on rule 1 and rule 2 and there's no mention of what is using what and I haven't checked to see if any others are assigned.
When doing a 'list ars ana' the entries appear but the route pattern fields have Px (x=#) which I know are partition route patterns. How do I follow this to find out exactly what these dialed digits are doing and see the actual route patterns?? When I do 'list partition-route-table' I see...
What can possibly be the cause if 1 user.. 1.. calls his assistant from his bberry (non pbx #)and the call goes directly to her VM but nobody else that calls this person has this issue? There's no EC500, no fwd'ng turned on so this makes no sense.
Avaya said on the 2.0 switch that an upgrade would be required to 2.2 and then the patch can be applied. We will be upgrading all our switches and LSP'ng them in the 2nd quarter so we aren't going to do this. It's been this way for quite some time. Avaya indicated that we should wait until...
I have a few older switches that uses CM2.0 that do not have the patch so we have to remove our NTS IP addresses for a few weeks and go to local clock until this weekend. When I put back the IP addresses the clocks went back an hour. How does this happen.. all my other switches that use this...
I know you can have DNIS with toll free numbers, but can a carrier send down DNIS on DID's??
ex.. DID range 203-324-9500 -- 203-324-9599
can the carrier, when someone calls any of those numbers send down a 4 digit DNIS such as 2111 instead of the 95xx??
Just got 1 of these to mess around and test with and I'm unable to get power. I used a standard power supply that I had from my 9630's as I have no POE switches. I've messed with the dip switch in the back and nothing. Any ideas on what this phone needs for power?
if a user is on their 1st call appearance and a call comes in on line 2.. is the phone going to flash the set amount of times in call coverage and then go to 1st point or will line 2 ring aloud and then go to point 1?
what do you tell one of the richest men in the US that he has to go through the steps to access his vm when not at his deskphone and he doesn't want this extra phone having his main lines on it? He's been offered 2 choices.. 1 with the string entered all the way in with the warning that anyone...
Are the new DID's coming down from the carrier with 4 digits, 5 digits etc...? In your Avaya dialplan that new range needs to be in there as extensions..
ex. new did's are 4 digits (4xxx).. in the dialplan there should be an entry for 4 with length of 4 and type is extension. To then have...
