Has anyone had any success using this card in a Laptop running Windows 98SE, accessing Novel 3.1x or 4.11 servers over a gigabit network? My experience to date is that the card does not recognise and connect to either server, even though the appropriate protocols appear to be in place. Using...
Thanks for the response. I got around the problem by mixing and matching but the key was to load the correct NBI31x.nlm with the Disk drivers to maintain compatability with the Ethernet Card Drivers.
Thanks for the response. I built a new server with 3.11 using a Western Digital 20gig hdd. IDE.DSK would only recognise 8.4gig, ISA.DSK recognised the full 20gig. No prizes for guessing which disk driver I am running with.
I have installed 3.12 on a server, patched it with 312PTD and loaded various other patches to get it running on a Netfinity 3500 M20 (SCSI Adaptec 7892) using ADPT160M.HAM.
Is anyone able to point me in the direction of the file combination needed to run a Intel Pro 1000 XT server network card...
what advantges does ide.dsk (1994) bring to Netware 3.11 over the original isadisk.dsk (1991) disk driver set? Does it cope with ATA66/100/133 IDE drives?

Has anyone been able to load SCSI160 drivers for Netware 3.11? I have updated netware 3.11 with the last patch updates issued by Novell. It seems that Adaptec stopped writing .dsk files for NW3.11 when Novell stopped supporting NW3.11. I understand there are some patch files that will enable...
