Thanks for the help. Looks like you are both right. The default crystal export option is not good enough for this application. I'm not keen on reistry changes and don't want every report to increase in file size.

I am creating reports with asp and crystal and I have some graphics that do not print well with default pdf settings. If I use the print option manually and select distiller with "press" or "print" job options the report is fine. I can not determine how to set better quality compression...
