    AIX 4.3.3 - Security concerns

    Are there any known security concerns with AIX 4.3.3? I assume that with the end of IBM support in 2003 no new updates, esp. w/security, would have been issued. We are running a critical server with this level of o.s. thank you.

    We are running an application on AIX 4.3.3, a no longer supported AIX version. Does anyone know if there have been any security issues with this version?

    Running critical app on 4.3 AIX w/Oracle 7.3

    If this is the wrong forum for this question, please let me know. What are the pitfalls of running an Oracle-based app (old version 7.3) on IBM AIX v.4.3? Would there be any security vulnerabilities that can't be addressed by running these old releases?
