Win98 -->W2K Server Logon Scripts
Is it possible that you installed theses scripts on the Primary Domain Controller but not on the Backups ?!? The Scripts must be replicated to all Domaincontrollers! Otherwise The clients authenticates with a different DC and there are no scripts int the netlogon share of that dc. RainerS.- RainerS

Disk write caching disabled
If i remember right, W2K will disable write Cache if the Active Directory Data is stored on that drive ( you wouldn´t like your AD Files become corrupted because of a system crash ) Of course this has an impact on system Performance.
