    Backup of Priv.edb taking over double the time.

    Thanks....I'm using Data Protector with 200/400GB DLT tapes over a dedicated 100 megabit backup link. We have around 14 Exchange servers and this one is the only one playing up, it was fine just a week ago. Could it be perhaps the edb is fragmented?

    Backup of Priv.edb taking over double the time.

    Hi... PRIV.EDB is taking over double the time to backup. Over a week ago it was taking 4 hours and now it's taking over 9 hours. Just wondering if anyone knows why...it's mind boggling. It's definitley not the backup s/w or device. Help please anyone? S
