    make sure everything is seated fully. sometimes if something(anything) is off just by a little the entire system won't work

    I had a problem simular to this with my radeon 8500. I could play a game with no problem, when i quit the game the computer would reboot. I updated my radeon drivers and the problem stopped. Try going to ati's website and download the latest driver for your card and see what happens.
