Thanks again tlc...Created a new profile and it didn't work. Ran as administrator and that didn't work either. Safe mode with networking is still the only way to get on.

I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still nothing. UGH. Any other ideas?

The 6TO4 Adapter has an error message next to it and under properties it says "This device cannot start (code 10)." Does that have any significance? Should I try uninstalling this and rebooting? Any other ideas?

Just did it and still nothing. On the reboot it sucessfully reinstalled the drivers for the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection. But Int Explorer is still not able to display webpages.

Ok, progress! It works in safe mode. I have Symantic Antivirus running. And Vista has it's own Window's Security Center with firewall running. Again, this all happened after upgrading to firefox 3. Where do you think I should look to see the problem?

I typed that address and nothing came up. It still won't connect, even though I have a wireless connection established. I also just checked the LAN settings and no proxy server setting was established. It is still set to automatically detect settings. Ugh. Any other ideas?

Thanks for all your help. It took about 20 attempts, but I was finally able to download Malwarebytes Anti-Spyware program from downloads.com and that did the trick. That was the only thing that was able to get rid of this nasty little thing. Thanks again.
