hi everyone, i would like to known if someone have already try to put together differents motherboard in order to make some clustering, i have some mobo which are not used and i was wondering how i can plug them together and make it works.

i had the same issue before ,
it was due to an insufficiant power supply ( 300 W ) , so check that, it may solve your problem , via chipset may be also a problem
when i first had my computer , it used to restart himself without any reason, it was the power supply which was too light for all componements

you can plug your 20 pin into your 24 pin , i did it unto ma a8n sli , but, due to the lack of information about which wire to which connector, i've bought a converter , 20--> 24 it's not expensive at all et works perfectly
as far as i read , i seems that the 4 pin, provide a 12v power line ...
yes , i've already heard of the nvram, but i'm quite surprised that it may affect fans..
and the reset of the settings of your computer won't affect your data on your hard disk, but affect what you could have do to the bios

the only point i want you to pay attention, is the hard disk.
they love getting down with moving ;) so just make sure they won't be too hardly shaken ;)
If a virus erase your bios , the last way of saving it, will be to change the bios chip itself, it's not very difficult to do, but depending on your motherboard it could cost you a lot
